  So this is my new challenge. Just started it up tonight. I’ll try and post random screen shots of more memorable bosses including the ending and such. Wish me luck :3

• So here’s the grand finale! The most evil of evils! Anyway, yeah this guy ‘Daos’ (Chaos see a pattern) He pretty much uses magic just the same as the guy before but his is a bit more powerful. There’s not really much to say about him other than he has 2 FORMS!!!

  Shortly after defeating him all the ‘Sinistrals’ (There’s a whole back-story but trust me you don’t want to know) If you REALLY want to know, google that shit, I’m tired of this game.

  So this form here is called ‘Guard Daos’ As you saw in my previous screen capture of the game he’s an ugly fucker. Don’t know what the character designers were thinking but whatever.

  So this guy is a HUGE pain in the dick. He uses nothing but magic. He especially likes using some shit called ‘Figual’ that confuses my characters only cure for confusion is MORE COWBELL. No but really you HAVE to get hit by a physical attack in order to get rid of it.

  After a few minutes of grinding away his health he dies.

  I was so fucking relieved when it was over. I still can’t believe this was the best we had to offer in the past and its a great relief to see how far games have come from since NES, SNES and all the other old timey antique systems.

  Oh yeah the clip cuts off at the end, my Emulator crashed or something stupid.

  If you guys are that interested in what happens next I’ll be happy to upload the full final scene.

• So now its this next jerk-offs turn. His/Her name is Amon,

  its never really explained whether or not it was a man or a woman. All I know is that all she ever uses is spells. 

  MIRROR, yeah that’s a spell that reverses magic back on them (Doesn’t take a genius to learn that one) probably one of the easiest bosses I ever encountered in Lufia. Hell I ran into frogs that murdered me more efficiently than Amon. Anyway, yeah she goes down easy without a hitch.

  Is anyone getting annoyed by the music yet?

• Alright so this first end boss is named ‘Gades’ as in Hades. Yeah very clever.Oh yeah they never give you any spell descriptions…ever. You just get a spell and you have to go test it out. See how much damage he does?

  I don’t believe this game scales to your heroes level. So Imagine if I came in here at any lower level than I was. 

  Notice the INTENSE GRAPHICS! Yeah this was the most stimulating thing we had back in yester-years.

  Here is my final stat screen after all the credits rolled.

  Yep that’s 50hours of gameplay. 

  I lost only 1 time during any given boss battle. A loss means all of my party members dying and having to respawn in the nearest town. 

  Also yeah, I named my main hero ‘Queer’. Got a problem? Get bent.

  BTW The final bosses name was ‘Guard Daos’

  I’m not to sure how tumblr works but I’ll see about recording a video of the final boss battle and posting it as well. Just so you guys can see my frustrations.

  So I’ve decided to just post random final boss screens from old SNES games I’m currently playing through. This one is from “Lufia: The Fortress of Doom” .

  Probably one of the most exhausting experiences playing any RPG I’ve ever had. 

  From quests never being specific “Hey go to a cave somewhere near a mountain and talk to a guy about something and he’ll tell you where the object that I want is” :s. 

  To a completely random fighting system, You select groups of monsters to attack. You can’t specifically choose 1 monster to attack. If there’s 2 or 3 of a certain type on the screen your team will randomly choose to attack either A.B. or C. 

  Believe me there was a lot more wrong with this game but I’m so tired of it I don’t even want to begin to explain.
